Welcome to our Vietnam travel blog. On this page, you can explore our awesome Vietnam travel guides. Find out where to go in Vietnam with kids, learn the best Vietnam travel tips for families and find out why we love travelling in Vietnam with kids so much.

Vietnam is an amazing country to travel around with kids. Okay, bustling Old Hanoi can be a bit of a headache with kids but with a little planning, Hanoi with kids can be a great experience.

We love travelling independently with kids in Vietnam. We travelled around Vietnam with a 2 and 4-year-old as well as extensively pre-kids. With the little ones, we travelled by private taxi, train and plane but wish we’d taken the train more.

Our in-depth Vietnam travel guides include a 21 day Vietnam travel itinerary for families – hand-crafted by us

We’ll suggest the best places to go in Vietnam with kids as well as the places to avoid!

A lot of effort goes into planning our Vietnam itineraries and I hope that you find our Vietnam itinerary blog posts useful. We have guides on famous Hoi An as well as lesser-visited gems like Ninh Binh.

Some of our favourite attractions in Vietnam for families are the Ninh Binh countryside (absolutely spectacular) and the ancient imperial city of Hue. We highly recommend that you try and incorporate these amazing Vietnam travel destinations into your Vietnam itinerary.
